AMS 8th graders facilitate interactive learning

Alva Middle School (AMS) has continued its tradition of excellence and learning with another Taste a Book event – but this time there was a twist. The second Taste a Book event, on May 8, was bigger and more tech-based than the previous event.

The previous event featured the eighth-grade class presenting to the seventh-grade classes. This time, pre-K through fifth-grade students attended the event, which was set up in the AMS gymnasium. The students were bused to AMS at different times of the day, and attended each presentation station that the eighth-grade students had set up throughout the g...
