Stabbing in Carmen results in assault charges

 


A couple told the Alfalfa County sheriff and deputy that the husband stabbed himself in the shoulder. But officers were skeptical. Further questioning brought out a different story. Now the pair faces court charges.

According to court records, Sheriff Rick Wallace and Deputy Loren Nusser responded to a domestic disturbance in Carmen about 11:20 p.m. on April 20. Cherokee Assistant Police Chief Ryan McNeil (who is also a reserve deputy) was also present.
