Woods County Cooperative Extension to offer Child Care/Babysitting Clinic

 


The Woods County OSU Cooperative Extension Service will be holding a Baby-Sitting/Child Care Clinic for all interested area youth ages 10-13 years of age, according to Susan Holliday, Extension Educator for Family and Consumer Science/4-H Youth Development.

The clinic will be held on Tuesday, June 6, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Alva Public Library.

Speakers will discuss the safety measures that must be followed to provide safe and adequate child care. Topics will include: first aid, stranger danger, nutritious snacks and tips/expectations from a local mother who utilizes babysitters for...
