Rec park to dip into savings for new budget

 


The Alva Recreation Authority heard a budget proposal that had been worked up by City Manager Joe Don Dunham and Alva Recreation Complex Manager Courtney Nesseralla that calls for expenditures of about $200,000 more than income.

This imbalance will dip into the reserves built up by the authority during the oil-boom days. At present, the authority has $320,750.27 in cash, and Certificates of Deposit of $408,185.99.
