Cleo Springs man injured in collision with semi

 


A Cleo Springs man was injured in a collision with a semi just north of Cherokee Wednesday. William Failes, 44, of Cleo Springs was transported by Cherokee EMS to Share Medical Center in Alva. He was then transferred to OU Medical Center in Oklahoma City by Medi-Flight. He was admitted in stable condition with head, trunk internal and leg injuries.

The collision occurred at 6:45 p.m. at the intersection of State Highway 11 and U.S. Highway 64, two miles north of Cherokee in Alfalfa County. According to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, Failes was driving a 2002 Dodge Dakota eastbound on State Highw...
