A public hearing will be held Monday, June 5, at 6 p.m. on the City of Alva budgets for the next fiscal year. The hearing will be held in the council chambers at City Hall.

The city’s fiscal year begins July 1. Next year’s budget over all funds totals $12,974,141 in revenue and $13,033,767 in expenditures.

The city published a legal notice in this newspaper a week ago listing budget amounts for each of the funds and announcing the public hearing. The budget may be examined in the city offices Monday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. before the hearing.
