TULSA, Okla. (AP) — Police in Tulsa have released the names of a homicide suspect who was fatally shot by police and of the homicide victim, and announced the arrest of another suspect in the case.
Police told reporters that the suspect was arrested Saturday on a first-degree murder complaint in the shooting death of 36-year-old Rabson Robert at an east Tulsa hotel. Online court records do not show that formal charges have been filed.
Police say Robert died after being shot Friday and 18-year-old Naway Willy was fatally shot a short time later after he ran from officers who were questioning him about the shooting, then pulled a gun and pointed it at the officers who were chasing him.
The names of the officers have not been released.
