Cherokee school board gears up for new school year

 


The Cherokee Public School Board met Monday night for a regular meeting to get ready for the 2017-2018 school year. All members were in attendance, and a quorum was established.

The first agenda item the board approved after general business was the appointment of Donna Anderson, superintendent, as an agent to assure compliance for AHERA, a programs purchasing agent, a hearing officer for Vocational Programs Complaints and Civil Rights Complaints, an OSHA risk manager, and as the official representative/acting agent for the board in connection with applying for any federal, state and local fun...
