Bank It raises $6,160 for the Alva Public Swimming Pool

The Alva Public Swimming Pool was selected as Bank It's first quarter vision for 2017. From January to March, Bank It, the community of Alva and local participating banks raised $6,170.70 to make necessary repairs to the pool before it's May 27 opening.

The Alva WPA swimming pool was built in 1939. The facility symbolizes a depression era WPA program that emphasized people instead of money. Over 74,000 hours of labor went into the project.
