Guilty plea set for oil recycling manager in pollution case

 


DOVER, Del. (AP) — A former manager of a Delaware oil recycling company charged with federal environmental crimes has agreed to plead guilty in the case

Lance Charen, a former manager for International Petroleum Corp., was indicted in February on charges of improperly handling hazardous waste, falsifying reports, tampering with monitoring devices, and other crimes.

Charen was scheduled to enter a guilty plea Wednesday, but the judge on Monday granted a defense request to postpone the hearing until next week.
