Stolen vehicle recovered

 


A Cherokee woman reported her vehicle stolen on May 22. According to court documents, Cherokee Assistant Police Chief Ryan McNeil was dispatched to the Cherokee Inn about 11 p.m. He spoke with Christin Michelle Curry who said she was with another woman in a motel room when Charles J. Garner took the keys to her silver 2001 Chevy Blazer. She said he didn’t ask for the keys but just took them from her. She said she told Garner to give the keys back, but he wouldn’t and then “took off.” Curry said Garner scared her and she wanted to press charges.
