CASPER, Wyo. (AP) — The Latest on the Australian bull rider injured at the College National Finals Rodeo in Wyoming (all times local):

2:35 p.m.

An Australian bull rider who suffered life-threatening injuries at the College National Finals Rodeo in Wyoming is improving after surgery on Friday.

But a hospital spokeswoman says Bradie Gray remains in critical condition.

Odessa College coach C.J. Aragon says Gray suffered broken ribs, a bruised aorta and collapsed lungs after a bull threw him and stepped on his chest during competition Thursday night at the Casper Events Center.
