Crowd turns out for museum fundraiser

Shooting the breeze with old friends always a highlight of any event

Approximately 80 patrons attended the sixth annual Freedom Museum Fundraiser. People of Freedom and the surrounding area came to partake of good food, fellowship and fun. Sandy Wimmer, a board member of the Freedom Museum, doesn't know the exact amount but figures the event raised over $3,000. "I'd say about $3,400 (was raised), which will be an enormous help in covering our general expenses for the next year and help with some projects that we would like to do," Wimmer said.
