Burlington School has at least $2.4 million carryover

• New personnel hired, many existing employees rehired

 


The Burlington Board of Education met for their regular June meeting at 8 p.m. last Wednesday. President Terry Graham called the meeting to order with four members present: Aaron Smith, Allison Armbruster and T.J. Rockenbach. Robert Hill was absent. Superintendent Glen Elliott and Minutes Clerk Tamre McGinnis also attended.

In his report to the board, Superintendent Elliott talked finances. He said a “conservative estimate” of Burlington School's carryover for this school year is $2.4 million. The superintendent said this is carryover amount is “the best ever” for Burlington School, thanks to...
