A lewd molestation case dismissed in Alfalfa County almost 12 years ago has been reopened at the request of the district attorney’s office. Originally filed on Aug. 9, 2005, the case was dismissed without prejudice to refiling by a state motion on March 22, 2006. On June 21 Earl Wayne Davis, 49, of Aline was again charged with lewd molestation, a felony. This crime is punishable by not less than 25 year in the Department of Corrections.
