Freedom Gates Boys Ranch fundraising burgers and auction Saturday in Kiowa

• Burgers served at 5:30 p.m. followed by live auction at 6:30 at Kiowa Community Building

 


Since beginning to accept troubled young male teens at a facility in Hazelton, Kansas, six years ago, the Freedom Gates Boys Ranch (FGBR) has had 28 boys come through with the intent of helping change their life for the better.

FGBR President Michael Simpson said that April 4 the group officially received the license to be a private placement residential care home at the Blue House in Hazelton. Through donations and the volunteerism of World Mission Builders last summer, FGBR transformed the donated house into a residential care home.
