Knight wraps up 22 years of postal service

 


Waynoka Postmaster Al Knight will soon be enjoying a lot more free time, as he has just retired from the Waynoka Post Office on June 30, where they kept him busy right up until the last minute.

Knight, a resident of the area since the 90s, was born in Cleveland, Ohio. He joined the United States Air Force in 1972 and served until 1990. Knight was overseas serving in Berlin, Germany, through the military, when he met his wife Cynda. They were married in 1989, and moved to this area to be near Cynda's family in Carmen.

Knight began his career, like most people, at the bottom of the career ladder...
