Oklahoma 4-H'ers make trek to Washington, D.C.

 

Austin Rankin of the Waynoka 4-H Club and Hannah Kornele of the Alva 4-H Club took an opportunity for a selfie in front of the White House while attending the 2017 CWF (Citizenship Washington Focus) in Washington, D.C.

What is the result when combining enthusiastic youth, adventure-ready adults, more than 3,000 highway miles and an opportunity for a selfie in front of the White House? Citizenship Washington Focus 2017, of course.

A group of 53 Oklahoma 4-H'ers and adults traveled to the National 4-H Youth Center near Washington, D.C., to participate in this educational opportunity.
