Allen appointed to KDH board, new doctor expected, software approved

The Kiowa District Hospital (KDH) board of directors covered a wide variety of business at their June 29 meeting, from gaining a new board member to discussion that a new doctor awaits getting his Kansas license.

Following executive session, the board approved upon election of appointment for Miranda Allen to fill the vacated board seat. Allen, who expressed interest to serve, is a local businesswoman, and CEO of RSI Corp. (Radiofrequency Safety International), which is based in Kiowa. She and her husband Steve reside in Kiowa with their four children.
