Working in an office and greeting the public is just second nature to Trish Brewer, who is the new Kiowa, Kansas, city clerk.

She is the wife of Barber County Undersheriff Dusty Brewer. Married 14 years, the Brewers resided in Texas the last 11 years where he was in law enforcement. The couple moved to Kiowa in December when he became Barber County Sheriff Lonnie Small's undersheriff as Small began his new position in January.
