The community of Anthony, Kansas, and the surrounding area is saddened by the death of Tanner Asper, age 16, who would have been a junior at Chaparral High School this fall. A funeral service was held for him last Thursday at the Christian Church in Anthony with a beyond standing room only crowd.

Asper died in a single-vehicle rollover July 9 at about 11:50 p.m.

Asper was passenger in a 1995 Dodge Ram pickup driven by his friend Adrian Gerber, 18, of Anthony. The vehicle was northbound on Southeast 70 Avenue near Bluff City when it came to the T-intersection of 70 Road. Harper County Undersher...
