Since they were little kids, Dalton Black of Hardtner, Kansas, and Bayli Hyde of Burlington have shared a bond as strong as her natural auburn curls. In fact, they consider each other "besties."
Now 21 years old, Black has had muscular dystrophy (MD) since he was age six and in second grade. He graduated with his Class of 2014 at South Barber. His parents are Jeff and Stacy Black. Hyde just graduated from Burlington High School this May. She is the daughter of Marci Hyde and the late Robert Hyde.
