Sharon, Kansas, man Mark Mathews, age 62, was killed in a two-vehicle crash just miles from his rural residence.
The wreck occurred Tuesday, July 11, at 4:12 p.m., according to the report of Kansas Highway Patrol Trooper Lann who responded to the scene. The location was one mile south of Sharon at the country road intersection of Blue Stem Road and Southeast Naron Road.
Trooper Lann's report said that Mathews was southbound on Blue Stem Road driving a 2009 Chevrolet Silverado 2500 pickup.
