Share Medical Center has five profitable months in a row

 


Darlene Sanderson chaired the meeting of the Alva Hospital Authority Tuesday evening in the absence of Jason Gaisford. In the CEO's report, Kandice Allen said she was relieved that occupancy numbers are up. At the day of the board meeting, about eight patients were being cared for at Share Medical Center (SMC). She said, “Normally, the summer months hit our census numbers badly because the flu and cold season hasn't started up again. Also, three of SMC's doctors have taken vacations and that usually impacts census.”
