Stolen tag discovered on Alva woman's car

 


A check of a vehicle license in another matter led to the discovery of a stolen license plate and the arrest of an Alva woman.

According to court documents, on July 7 about 9:40 a.m. Alva Police Officer Kris Franta was called to the 300 block of Second Street about a suspicious vehicle parked in a yard. Franta spoke with a nearby resident who said the truck was usually parked further down the block, pointing to 120 Flynn.

Franta went to that house and knocked on the front door, but there was no answer. As he was leaving, he ran the license tag on a silver BMW parked in the driveway. While...
