Drug charges filed against a dozen Alva residents

Eleven people from Alva were charged with a total of 23 drug-related felony counts in Woods County District Court on Wednesday, July 26. Ten were charged with (1) endeavoring/conspiracy to deliver or possess controlled dangerous substance as well as (2) computer fraud/unlawful use of computer or system. The first count is punishable by imprisonment for two years to life and up to $20,000 fine. The second is punishable by imprisonment of ten years and/or $5,000 to $10,000 fine.
