My elderly friend was without phone and computer Internet service about a week, thinking service lines must be down causing the problem. She was distraught not having resources for communication in case medical assistance was needed. Her cell phone was broken.
Friends and family living at a distance were concerned about her since they were unable to reach her by phone or Internet.
