Alva woman charged with harboring fugitive

An Alva woman has been charged with a felony after officers say she lied about the presence of a man they were seeking. Elizabeth Susan Kennedy, 51, of Alva has been charged with harboring a fugitive from justice, a felony. This crime is punishable by imprisonment of up to ten years and a $10,000 fine.
According to court documents, Woods County Deputy Adam Honeyman went to a residence on Hart Street about 4 p.m. on Wednesday, July 26. Also present were OSBI Agent Chris Ray and Alva Police Officers Kris Franta and John Caviness. They were attempting to serve a felony arrest warrant for Timothy...
