STILLWATER, Okla. (AP) — An Oklahoma bail bond agent has fatally shot a man she was trying to trying to arrest.

Police Capt. Kyle Gibbs in Stillwater says the man was found dead at the agent's office about one block east of the Payne County courthouse after she called police shortly before noon Wednesday and said she shot him.

The names of the man and the bond agent were not immediately released.

Gibbs says the bond agent told officers she had called the man to her office to revoke his bond and take him to the sheriff's office.

Gibbs says the two apparently began fighting during the meeting and the agent shot the man.
