Airport board does not change loaner car policy

Dale Logsdon, along with several pilots who are not members of the Alva Regional Airport Authority, has been talking for a couple of months about what they consider to be an overly stringent policy about lending airport courtesy cars.

It is common across the nation that small airports provide loaner cars (usually worn-out police cars) to out-of-town pilots who visit. Lack of ground transportation is a major problem that discourages private aviation to small towns with no taxi services.
