Man arrested after attack on his father

Helena police arrested a man on assault charges after being called to a home on West Second Street. Brandon Nolan Hankey, 32, of Helena has been charged in Alfalfa County with domestic assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, a felony. This crime is punishable by up to one year in the county jail or by up to 10 years in prison.

According to court documents, Helena Police Chief Jim Dykes responded to a domestic in progress report on Aug. 5 at 8:19 p.m. Dykes spoke to Allen Hankey, Brandon’s father, who reported being hit several times in the face by his son. Allen also said his son had...
