Woods County has dismissed a second degree felony rape charge against a Muskogee woman. Leslie Dawn Lester, 34, was charged July 31 and a felony arrest warrant was issued. Lester was accused of having sexual intercourse with a 15-year-old boy in an Alva motel while on a school-related trip.
The Woods County order to dismiss on Tuesday, Aug. 15, occurred the same day Muskogee County filed three felony counts of second degree rape against Lester involving the same 15-year-old.
Lester’s initial appearance in Muskogee County court was Aug. 15, and her bond was set at $10,000. She has been released...
