University of New Mexico working to prevent suicide attempts

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (AP) — University of New Mexico officials say they will be making fencing around a parking structure taller in response to four attempted suicides at the school's parking garages in 2016.

Parking and Transportation Director Barbara Morck tells KOB-TV (http://bit.ly/2x85lKI ) the additional fencing will be placed at the top of the Cornell parking garage where students and staff saw a women jump off a year ago. The student survived the fall, but was badly injured.
