Man charged with taking money from ex-wife's account

A Waynoka man has been charged with using his ex-wife’s debit/credit card to obtain cash from her account at an ATM near the police department.

Colby Vaughn Ross, 35, of Waynoka was charged with unauthorized use of a credit card, a misdemeanor. This crime is punishable by a fine of up to $500 or imprisonment for up to 30 days, or both.

According to court documents, on Aug. 11 Waynoka Police Chief Ted Woodhead spoke to Kristen Ross who reported some charges on her bank statement were fraudulent. He accompanied her to 1st State Bank. They viewed video from the bank’s ATM located on Santa Fe Stre...
