1 of 2 suspects surrender in shooting death of Norman woman

NORMAN, Okla. (AP) — Police in Norman say one of two suspects in a woman's shooting death has surrendered to sheriff's deputies in southwest Oklahoma.

Officials say 29-year-old Ashlee Nicole Vasquez turned herself in at 12:30 a.m. Wednesday in Caddo County and is being transported to Norman. Vasquez was wanted on a warrant for accessory to first-degree murder.

Vasquez and 30-year-old Charles Curtis Hornback are wanted in connection with the death of 33-year-old Tiffany Godwin on Saturday. Police say officers who were conducting a welfare check found Godwin dead inside a home in southeast Norma...
