Northeastern State defeats Southern Nazarene 4-0

TAHLEQUAH, Okla. — It was a tough-go for Southern Nazarene in their 2017 season opener, as they fell to Northeastern State 4-0 Thursday afternoon.
The Crimson Storm (0-1-0) recorded 11 shots for the game, nine of those being on goal, but couldn't get one to find the net. Northeastern State (1-0-0) totaled 22 shots for the game, and had 13 shots on goal. The Riverhawks got things going in the 12th minute when Melissa Giles notched the first goal of the game.
