West Virginia to start Big 12 men's basketball slate on road

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. (AP) — West Virginia will open the Big 12 men's basketball season with a trip to Oklahoma State on Dec. 29 and to Kansas State on New Year's Day.
The conference released the Big 12 portion of the schedule Thursday.
The Mountaineers will play their conference home opener against Oklahoma on Jan. 6 and face Baylor in Morgantown three days later.
Other home games include Kansas on Jan. 15, Texas on Jan. 20, Kansas State on Feb. 3, Oklahoma State on Feb. 10, TCU on Feb. 12, Iowa State on Feb. 24 and Texas Tech on Feb. 26.
