Distinguished Goldbugs honored during Alva High School Homecoming Week

The Alva Goldbug Education Foundation will honor the 2017 Distinguished Goldbugs during Alva High School's football homecoming Sept. 15–16.
This year's honorees include Judge Joe Heaton, Michael Balenti, Jennifer Brandenburg Leu, Richard Ryerson, Sheri Brownrigg and Helen Thiesing. Heaton is honored as the Distinguished Goldbug in the Professional category; Balenti, Education; Leu, Humanitarian; Ryerson, Philanthropy; Brownrigg, the Arts; and Thiesing, Posthumous.
