A traffic stop in Waynoka resulted in a drug arrest for a man from Kiowa, Kansas. Matthew Wade Loewenstein, 32, of Kiowa, Kansas, has been charged with misdemeanors of possession of controlled dangerous substance and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia.

According to court documents, on Aug. 24 about 10:30 p.m. Waynoka Police Officer Misty Smiley was following a green Pontiac on Broadway when she observed the vehicle crossing left of center. She conducted a traffic stop and talked to the driver, Loewenstein.
