SHAWNEE –A loaded week awaits the Bison and Lady Bison as the second week of fall action gets under way. Here's what's coming up this week on Bison Hill.Tuesday: Women's Soccerlooks to make it back-to-back wins to open the season when they face Central Christian College (Kan.) at the OBU Soccer Complex at 6 p.m. Kerregan Edwards scored a second-half goal for OBU to give the Lady Bison the win in the squads' first-ever meeting last season.Women's Golfhits the links for the first time this fall as they take part in the Central Region Fall Preview at Prairie Highlands in Olathe, Kansas. The tournament will go a long way towards helping the Lady Bison establish themselves in the regional rankings.Wednesday: Women's Golfconcludes the Central Region Preview with a second round of 18 holes.Thursday: Men's Soccerkicks their season off as they head to Oklahoma City to take on Oklahoma Christian at 5 p.m. The Bison dropped OC in the season opener last year, 4-2, in Shawnee.Friday: Volleyballheads to Bolivar, Missouri, for the Southwest Baptist Tournament hosted by Southwest Baptist University. Oklahoma Baptist will face Fort Lewis College and Drury at 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. respectively.Saturday: Men'sandWomen's Cross Countrymake the trip to Weatherford for their second meet in as many weeks when they run at the Southwestern Oklahoma State Open. The Bison secured their first-ever meet win in the Division II era at the same event last season, while it will be the Lady Bison's debut at the meet.Volleyballcontinues at the SBU Tournament with matches against Emporia State at 11 a.m. and Adams State at 5 p.m.Women's Soccerfaces the University of Science and Arts of Oklahoma at 5 p.m. in Chickasha, Oklahoma, in the squad's first road test. Abigail Hicks scored the only goal in a 1-0 affair between the two sides in Shawnee last season.Footballtravels to Durant, Oklahoma, to take on Southeastern Oklahoma State under the lights at 6 p.m. Isaiah Mallory averaged 8.0 yards per carry and scored one touchdown on the ground in last season's loss to the Savage Storm in Shawnee.Men's Soccerprovides the nightcap when they face USAO at 7 p.m. in Chickasha. Jonathan Martinez and Thiago Dos Santos combined for three goals as OBU dispatched the Drovers, 3-1, at the OBU Soccer Complex last season.
