Gillock, Broaddrick finish in top 10 at UCO Land Run

EDMOND, Okla. (Sept. 2, 2017) – Oklahoma Christian cross country coach Wade Miller didn't see the need to have his Eagles go all-out in the first meet of the season, so he chose to have his runners treat the Central Oklahoma Land Run as more of a training session.

Even so, a pair of OC seniors, Sisay Gillock and Kyle Broaddrick, snuck into the top 10 in the four-mile race, run on a crisp Saturday morning at Edmond Santa Fe High School.

Running together for most of the race, Gillock finished ninth in the 69-man field in 20:51.52, with Broaddrick a spot behind in 20:52.10. At full speed, th...
