Southern Nazarene ties Eastern New Mexico 1-1 in 2OT

BETHANY, Okla. — It took a full two overtimes before the game was decided against Southern Nazarene and Eastern Mexico. They settled for a 1-1 tie.

The Crimson Storm (0-1-1) and Greyhounds (0-1-1) each fired over 25 shots for the game, and none of them found the goal for either side. The Greyhounds were awarded a penalty kick in the 43rd minute, as Mitchell Meisinger capitalized, giving Eastern New Mexico a 1-0 lead into halftime.

After a gritty second half that saw three yellow cards, Southern Nazarene was awarded a penalty kick after Shane Kiddie was fouled inside the goalie box. Pedro Garci...
