Voters will go to the polls Tuesday for the Sept. 12 City of Waynoka and Freedom School Special Elections, Woods County Election Board Secretary Sandra Koehn said today.
Please keep the following information and tips in mind as the election approaches.
• Early voting will be available at the County Election Board office located at 410 4th St., Alva, OK, Suite C on Thursday, Sept. 7, and Friday, Sept. 8, from 8 a.m. until 2 p.m.
• Polls are open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 12. Lines are possible at peak voting times. Wait times will likely be shortest at mid-morning and mid-afternoon....
