Has the great American pastime gotten out of hand? With so many opportunities to play, so many sports to choose from, so many levels of achievement; it’s fair to say that some kids suffer from sports overload.

Parents love to see themselves in their children, perhaps being able to guide them in the right direction, but has it gone too far? Children need to be children first of all. My mother always said, “you can’t put an adult head on a child.” That’s advice we all should take, along with never reasoning with a toddler.
