OBU Sweeps Cross Country Awards

SHAWNEE – Oklahoma Baptist swept the initial Great American Conference Runner of the Week honors with Patrick Harris and Abby Hoover taking the awards, it was announced Wednesday.
Hoover, a senior from Sapulpa, placed second in her first official cross country meet since 2015, finishing the four-kilometers in 18:10.52 and leading the Lady Bison to a team title in the season opener.
Harris, a freshman from Stilwell, placed fifth in the four-mile course in 20:20.90 and helped the Bison to a second-place finish....
