The Alva Airport Commission will discuss and possibly take action on several items continued from last month. The commission will meet at 7 p.m. Monday in the meeting room at the airport terminal.

The east-west turf runway construction will be discussed with possible action. At the last meeting, Aug. 16 was given as a possible date for work to begin.

Mayor Kelly Parker who is a member of the airport commission offered plans for signage for airport entryways. He was to get some quotes on cost for this month’s meeting.
