The 13th annual Alva Fire Department Mud Slinger event was held Saturday around noon at the Woods County Fairgrounds. About ten big-tire trucks competed. Before the start of the event, girls' mud fighting helped pass the time. Here, Maddie McCray and Shadey Chrisman splatter a bit of mud on each other while Jessie Fogel observes. Unfortunately, there was no mud wrestling, just mud throwing.
