Savage Storm Split First Day at UNK

KEARNEY, Neb. – Southeastern bounced back from a tough 3-0 loss to fifth-ranked Nebraska-Kearney to score a 3-0 win over Western State to close out day one of the UNK Fall Classic on Friday in Kearney, Neb.
The split moves the Savage Storm to 3-3 on the season with two more games on the slate in Nebraska, first against Texas A&M-Kingsville at 10 a.m. followed by a 2 p.m. contest with No. 25 Rockhurst.
In the opener Arianna Baker paced the offense with 15 kills and hit .625 for the match with no attack errors.
Taylor Robinson added eight kills, while Caroline Griffith chipped in five.
