TYLER, Texas – Southeastern boasted three of the top-six finishers en route to a team championship on Friday evening at the UT Tyler Braveheart Invitational in Tyler, Texas.
The 39 points scored by the Savage Storm bested second-place Texas-Dallas by 11 points, and was 98 points ahead of the closest Great American Conference foe in Ouachita Baptist who finished fifth with 137 points.
Rebekah Christman turned in one of her best individual placings of her career with a third-place finish after posting a 19:22.68, shaving 35 seconds off her season opening time.
