SALT LAKE CITY, Utah. – The Harding volleyball team defeated West Alabama 3-1 (25-14, 19-25, 25-15, 25-22) and Westminster 3-0 (25-17, 25-23, 25-17) Saturday on the final day of the Westminster College Tournament.

Harding improves to 9-0 to start the season. It is the first time in the NCAA era (since 1997) the Lady Bisons have started the season 9-0.

West Alabama falls to 2-5 and Westminster falls to 2-6.

Rachel Heussner was named tournament MVP and to the all-tournament team. Zoe Hardin was the other Lady Bison to be named to the all-tournament team.
